In a crowded marketplace, brands need to stand out and differentiate themselves., likewise on ground activations aim to build popularity and give the customers and the general public an experience that will make them feel a real personal connection to the Brand. In our Education PR practice we took Cavendish University Uganda experience to the public. Publics Africa Communications held market activations in areas with high foot fall, and within selected Secondary schools, to allow enquiries to move beyond the phone calls & online interactions in order to meet & engage with potential enrolling students and actually created a face-to-face interaction with their target audience. Publics Africa generated significant word-of-mouth marketing as attendees talked about their experiences, shared photos and videos on social media, while recommending the brand to friends and family. This organic promotion extended the brand’s reach and attracted new student enrollment.
